Another rock icon gone…Ric Ocasek of The Cars
Ric was 75 years old when he passed away yesterday, hard to believe we lost two icons in one week. The Cars, like Eddie Money, made a dent in rock music from the late 70,s through the 80’s. Read more here

Green Day play new song at rare club show
Green Day are releasing a new album soon and played their new song “Father of All” at the Whisky A Go Go earlier this week. The band will be supporting the album this summer with a stadium tour next year. Check it all out here.

Willie Nile and Marc Jonson jam together

The Last Waltz is going on tour

Jimmy Johnson from Muscle Shoals Studios passes away
Jimmy Johnson the famed guitarist and founder of Muscle Shoals Studios, and band “The Swampers” passed away yesterday at the age of 76. Jimmy was known for believing in Lynyrd Skynyrd when others didn’t. He recorded with and played with countless artists throughout his career. Read more here.
